I admit I drive excessively. It manifests itself in tailgating, speeding shouting at others either too slow or more aggressive than me. All of this in a moderate way, ie no racing, no hitting bumpers, no shouting out the window, etc. Some of it comes from driving a rental Toyota Camry hybrid. One of the most interesting features is a real time gauge of fuel usage. Of course starting from a full stop and accelerating up hills uses the most gas so I took the challenge of getting the gold star each time I finished a trip. The car tells you how thrifty you were. My current car is a Nissan Pathfinder which gets 18 mpg so it is in my best interest to drive slower, brake sooner and try to squeeze the most out of the car. Also in my attempts to “chill out” I feel much better if my blood pressure has not been elevated by driving to the store for groceries.
